The River Kumada

Bendrinti:

The River Kumada is the left bank tributary of the River Amata.

The width of the River Kumada is 3 - 7 meters. Travertine, dolomite and sandstone rock outcrops have formed along its banks.

The river has several small waterfalls and several big beaver dams. Rather often there are fallen trees in the river.

The Cecīļu Rock is located on the left bank of the River Kumada; it is more than 10 metres high and 100 metres long. There are small niches in the rocks that are called Velna kambari (Devil's caves).
