Mārtiņi is celebrated to mark the approaching winter, when days are becoming shorter, but nights – longer. Everything by now must be harvested and it’s time to serve it on the table.
As part of Sigulda Restaurant Week, guests are invited to enjoy three-course meals from a selection of nine restaurants in Sigulda and the surrounding area. Each restaurant will offer meal sets for two prices – 15 and 20 euros.
For the second time now, Valmiera is inviting people to the Restaurant Week, welcoming visitors with ancient flavours delivered in a contemporary manner. The Restaurant Week will take place from November 6 to November 12.
Mārtiņdiena – celebration according to national tradition is marking the end of autumn and the beginning of winter. Different traditional activities are being held during the celebration.
With special menu and live music, guests are welcomed in Valmiermuiža Beer Kitchen. Chef Valters Zirdziņš will take care of special menu, but live music will be from El Mars.
